Why The Village Was Created
The Village Collective began with a simple belief: women should not have to navigate care alone, and the professionals supporting them should not have to work in isolation.
The Story Behind The Village
Throughout her work as a therapist, Amy Pappas saw women searching for support during pregnancy, postpartum experiences, motherhood, relationship changes, anxiety, and other significant life transitions.
Finding the right care was often more complicated than it needed to be. At the same time, providers were doing meaningful work but were frequently separated from other professionals supporting the same women and families.
Amy envisioned a space where care could feel more connected. A place where women could discover trusted support, providers could build meaningful professional relationships, and community could become part of the wellness experience.
That vision became The Village Collective.

Amy Pappas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting women, children, teens, and families through meaningful life transitions.
Her work shaped the vision for The Village Collective, a space designed to make connection a more intentional part of care for both women and the professionals serving them.
