Amy Pappas, LCSW, PMH-C
Founder, The Village CollectiveAmy has been a social worker for over 20 years and in private practice for 13. Earlier in her career, much of her work focused on adolescents, young adults, and family therapy. Over time, her clinical interests evolved — and becoming a mom herself shifted something for her in a really meaningful way. She found herself increasingly drawn to supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, relationships, and the transition into motherhood. Working with new moms, both individually and in groups, has become one of the most meaningful parts of her work. She also loves connecting with other therapists and professionals — sharing referrals, collaborating, talking through cases, you name it! One of her favorite parts of opening The Village Collective has been getting to know so many incredible providers who are passionate about this work too. She’s loved building those connections and can’t wait to meet even more people in the community!

Julia is one of our amazing providers and practice owner of Take Care Psychotherapy Services. Using evidence-based approaches including yoga-informed psychotherapy, somatic therapy, CBT, ACT, and IFS, she helps clients move from constant striving to genuine thriving. If you’re successful but exhausted, accomplished but unfulfilled, or high-performing but always on edge—Julia understands.
